Elven Elder 2nd class quest walkthrough

Step 1. Master Cardien in Dion · Life

Teleport to the Town of Dion and enter the Warriors' Guild: Master Cardien gives the quest only to Elves with the 1st class, from level 37. Click "I will join the struggle." — Cardien hands you Cardien's Letter for the hierarch, plus 102 Dimensional Diamond on the first take.

Step 2. Hierarch Asterios · Life

Teleport through Gludio to the Elven Village: Hierarch Asterios stands in the temple. Either of the two answers works for his first question, then click in turn "I am in.", "Why is the Mother Tree dying?", "How can we save the Mother Tree?" and "I will set off in search of the Water of Life.". The hierarch gives you Hierarch's Letter and the Moonflower Charm — keep the charm until the end of the quest.

Step 3. Thalia at Iris Lake · Life

Thalia stands in the eastern part of Iris Lake. Leave the Elven Village through the south gate and run about 31,000 south. Click "Ask about the Test of Life.", then "How do you create a Grail of Purity?" — Thalia takes the hierarch's letter and gives you the Grail Diagram: only a Dwarven smith can make a cup of pure mithril.

Step 4. Priest Bandellos in Giran · Healer

Teleport to Town of Giran: Priest Bandellos serves in the temple. The quest is given only to Knights, Elven Knights, Clerics and Elven Oracles from level 39. Click "I will challenge the Test of the Healer" — Bandellos gives you the Report of Perrin and sends you to check on the "holy" girl, and on the first take — Dimensional Diamonds: Knight 104, Elven Knight 72, Cleric 60, Elven Oracle 45.

Step 5. Blacksmith Pushkin in Giran · Life

Teleport to the Town of Giran: Blacksmith Pushkin works in the smithy. The Dwarf doesn't like Elves, so the talk is long: "I will pay any price.", "Apologize.", "Ask about material.", "Ask where to get Pure Mithril." and "Ask about materials.". He takes the diagram and gives you Pushkin's List: 10 Pure Mithril Ore, 20 Wyrm's Talons and 20 Ant Soldier Acid. The materials drop only while you carry this list, in any order.

Step 6. Ore and talons in Death Pass · Life

From Giran teleport to Dragon Valley: the Death Pass lies all around the arrival point, and basilisks and wyrms roam the whole pass, 3,500 to 17,000 from the teleport. Pure Mithril Ore drops from the level 36 Guardian Basilisk lv. 36, 50% chance × the quest rate. You need 10.

The level 35 Wyrms lv. 35 live in the same pass: Wyrm's Talon, 50%, you need 20. Even more wyrms live in the Gorgon Flower Garden, but there's no reason to go there from Death Pass.

Step 7. Perrin and Tatoma at Gludin Harbor · Healer

From Gludin Village run west about 12,600 to the harbor: Perrin stands on a hill by Gludin Harbor. He wants 100,000 adena for the "saint" — don't pay, click "Tell me the truth or you will get hurt!". Tatoma lv. 32, level 32, appears next to you — kill him, he lives for 200 seconds.

Step 8. The truth from Perrin · Healer

Talk to Perrin again. He drops the price to 1,000 adena and then confesses: he has only heard about the saint from his girlfriend Allana. Perrin takes back the Report of Perrin.

Step 9. Allana on the next hill · Healer

Allana stands on the next hill, about 6,600 south of Perrin. Just talk to her: Allana grew up with the "saint" in the orphanage near Gludio Castle — that's where you go next.

Step 10. Father Gupu at the orphanage · Healer

Teleport to Town of Gludio, leave through the west gate and run west about 15,600: Father Gupu, the Dwarf who runs the orphanage, stands by a house on the ranch. From the Ruins of Agony teleport it is about 14,400 east to Gupu. He asks for 100,000 adena for the orphanage — pick the second option, "Pretend that you did not hear anything", and talk to Gupu once more: he tells you the girl was kidnapped and sends you to the Elf Sorius in Gludio.

Step 11. Master Sorius in Gludio · Healer

Return to Town of Gludio: Master Sorius waits in the Warriors' Guild. He gives you the Order of Sorius and sends you to the Dwarven scout Daurin Hammercrush at the Orc Barracks.

Step 12. Acid in the Ant Nest · Life

From Gludio teleport to the Ant Nest and go inside. Pushkin asks for soldiers, but Ant Soldier Acid drops from any of the five kinds: Ant Recruit lv. 33, Ant Patrol lv. 34, Ant Guard lv. 35, Ant Soldier lv. 35 and Ant Warrior Captain lv. 36, levels 33–36. 80% chance, you need 20.

Step 13. Hermit Santiago at the Orc Barracks · Pilgrim

From Gludin Village teleport to the Orc Barracks: Hermit Santiago stands by the hut on the ranch, about 700 north-northeast of the teleport. Only a Cleric, Elven Oracle, Shillien Oracle or Orc Shaman of level 35+ can take the quest. Click "Say you will take the Trial of the Pilgrim", then "\"I shall learn from the beginning.\"" and "Continue listening to the explanation" three times — you get the Voucher of Trial and, on the first take, 49 Dimensional Diamond.

Step 14. Daurin Hammercrush at the Orc Barracks · Healer

From the Orc Barracks teleport run west about 12,300: Daurin Hammercrush is watching the house where the lizardmen hide. Click "Leave the rest to me." — the Leto Lizardman Leader lv. 38, level 38, appears nearby, and he lives for 200 seconds. Kill him to get the 1st Secret Letter.

Step 15. Daurin again · Healer

Talk to Daurin once more. The Dwarf reads the letter: the girl was taken to a Dark Elven altar, and he will send helpers.

Step 16. Seer Tanapi in the Orc Village · Pilgrim

Teleport to the Orc Village: Seer Tanapi stands in the main building, about 1,000 west of the teleport. He takes the voucher and sends you to the ancestor spirit in the Cave of Trials.

Step 17. Ancestor Martankus in the Cave of Trials · Pilgrim

From the Orc Village teleport to the entrance of the Cave of Trials. Inside, jump off the bridge to the right and run downstream: Ancestor Martankus is in the far hall, about 13,000 east-southeast of the teleport. He asks for the Essence of Flame.

Step 18. Lava Salamander in the Forgotten Temple · Pilgrim

From Gludin teleport to the Forgotten Temple. Inside, turn right at the first fork (the fire side) and keep going: the quest Lava Salamanders lv. 35, level 35, live in a small room on the left before the main halls, about 12,000 northwest of the teleport. The Essence of Flame drops with a 20% chance × quest rate.

Step 19. The flame of Pa'agrio · Pilgrim

Return to Martankus and click "Swallow the Essence of Flame" — the ancestor takes the essence and gives you the Spirit of Flame.

Step 20. Tanapi again · Pilgrim

Return to Tanapi in the Orc Village: he is surprised you passed the trial of fire and sends you to the Dwarves — to Gauri Twinklerock.

Step 21. Gauri Twinklerock in the Dwarven Village · Pilgrim

Teleport to the Dwarven Village: Gauri Twinklerock stands by the forge, about 4,700 north of the teleport. She gives you the Tag of Rumor and advises you to talk to the wanderer Dorf.

Step 22. Wanderer Dorf · Pilgrim

Wanderer Dorf stands nearby, about 5,900 north of the teleport. Give him the tag — he tells you his own truth about the goddess Maphr and gives you the Gray Badge.

Step 23. The mithril cup · Life

With the three materials return to Pushkin in the Giran smithy and click "Wait until he finishes." twice. The Dwarf takes the list, ore, talons and acid and gives you the Pure Mithril Cup.

Step 24. Priest Primos in Giran · Pilgrim

Teleport to the Town of Giran: Priest Primos stands in the temple, about 3,200 east-southeast of the teleport. He admits he cannot teach the truth of Einhasad and sends you to Petron on Talking Island.

Step 25. Priest Petron · Pilgrim

Teleport to Talking Island Village: Priest Petron stands in the temple, about 1,000 west-southwest of the teleport. He gives you the Picture of Nahir and asks you to put the evil spirit Nahir to rest.

Step 26. Nahir in the Elven Ruins · Pilgrim

From the island teleport to the Elven Ruins and go down into the dungeon. Nahir lv. 35 is a level 35 quest mob at the far end of the ruins, past the spider room, about 4,300 north of the teleport. The Hair of Nahir drops with a 20% chance × quest rate — at x1 you may have to kill Nahir 5–10 times.

Step 27. Statue of Einhasad · Pilgrim

Bring the hair to Petron in the Talking Island Village temple — he takes the hair and the picture and gives you the Statue of Einhasad.

Step 28. The cup for Thalia · Life

Take the cup to Thalia at Iris Lake. If the Oren gatekeeper offers Timak Outpost, run about 21,000 southwest from that teleport to Thalia. Thalia takes the cup and gives you Thalia's 1st Letter: only Stardust can turn the cup into the Grail of Purity, and only Dark Elves know how to gather it.

Step 29. Andellia in the Elven Village · Pilgrim

Teleport to the Elven Village: Andellia stands on the square by the Mother Tree, about 1,100 north-northwest of the teleport. She continues the quest only from level 36 — at 35 she asks you to come back later. Andellia asks you to drive away the Black Willows and warn their mistress Uruha.

Step 30. The witch Arkenia · Life

From the Dark Elven Village teleport to the Spider Nest and run about 12,600 east to the Altar of Rites. Witch Arkenia drives strangers away, so click "Show Thalia's letter.", "Ask for help." and "Say you will pay the price.". She gives you Arkenia's Contract and Arkenia's Instructions: for the Stardust the witch wants Andariel's Book from the Gludin temple.

Step 31. The Mysterious Dark Elf at the Altar of Rites · Healer

The Mysterious Dark Elf stands right there by the Altar of Rites. Talk to her and she calls her guards: three Leto Lizardman Assassins lv. 37, level 37, appear around you. The letter drops from the first one you kill — the 2nd Secret Letter; the rest keep attacking.

Step 32. The Leto snipers · Healer

Talk to the Dark Elf again — three Leto Lizardman Snipers lv. 36, level 36, appear. The first sniper you kill gives the 3rd Secret Letter.

Step 33. Leto Lizardman Lord · Healer

Talk to her a third time: she releases two Leto Lizardman Wizards lv. 39, level 39, and the Leto Lizardman Lord lv. 40, level 40. The 4th Secret Letter comes only from the Lord — you don't have to kill the wizards. You don't need to talk to the Dark Elf after that.

Step 34. Saint Kristina · Healer

Saint Kristina is held by the tents on the way to the Necropolis of Devotion: from the Altar of Rites run southwest about 11,500. Click "Please visit Master Sorius with me." — the saint takes the four secret letters and gives you Kristina's Letter for Sorius.

Step 35. Black Willow by the waterfall · Pilgrim

The Black Willows lv. 30 are level 30 quest mobs by the waterfall in the northern part of the Neutral Zone. The fastest way is the Neutral Zone teleport from the Dark Elven Village and about 16,000 to the northeast. You can also go through Swampland: from the Swampland teleport run about 20,000 east-southeast. The Debris of Willow drops with a 20% chance × quest rate.

Step 36. Uruha · Pilgrim

Uruha stands right there by the waterfall. Click "\"I only came here at the request of Andellia.\"" — she takes the debris and gives you the Book of Darkness.

Step 37. The book of darkness · Pilgrim

Return to Andellia and click "Burn the Book of Darkness" — she thanks you and sends you to the sage Casian in the Wasteland.

Step 38. A letter for Sorius · Healer

Return to Town of Gludio, to Master Sorius in the Warriors' Guild, and give him Kristina's Letter. Sorius reports everything to Bandellos.

Step 39. Priest Adonius in Gludin · Life

Teleport to Gludin Village: Priest Adonius stands in the temple. He won't give away the book, but he will copy it if you help: click "I will help." — you get Adonius's List. You need 20 each of Spider Ichor and Harpy's Down, and they drop only while you carry this list.

Step 40. Elder Casian in the Wasteland · Pilgrim

From Gludin teleport to the Wasteland: Elder Casian stands in the wasteland, about 1,200 southwest of the arrival point. He takes the Gray Badge, the Spirit of Flame, the Statue of Einhasad and the book of darkness and gives you the Book of Sage.

Step 41. Mark of Pilgrim · Pilgrim

Return to Santiago at the Orc Barracks — he takes the Book of Sage and gives you the Mark of Pilgrim, 77,382 XP and 16,000 SP.

Step 42. Marsh Spiders by the Cruma Tower · Life

From Dion teleport to the Cruma Tower; don't go inside. The level 34 Marsh Spiders lv. 34 live in the marshes north-northeast of the entrance, 2,000 to 11,000 away: Spider Ichor, 50% chance. You need 20.

Step 43. Harpies in the Gorgon Flower Garden · Life

From Giran run about 14,000–22,000 east-northeast to the Gorgon Flower Garden. If the gatekeeper offers a Gorgon Flower Garden teleport, the harpies are 3,000–14,000 west of it. Harpy's Down drops from the level 32 Harpy lv. 32, 50%. You need 20.

Step 44. Andariel's Book · Life

Take the ichor and down to Adonius in the Gludin temple — he takes them and gives you the Andariel Scripture Copy.

Step 45. Stardust · Life

Return to Arkenia by the Altar of Rites. The witch takes the book and the contract and gives you the Stardust.

Step 46. Talin's Spear · Life

Take the Stardust to Thalia and click "Ask about Talin's Spear.". From level 38 she gives you Thalia's 2nd Letter: lizardmen stole the spear, and Isael will help you find it. If you're still 37, you get Thalia's Instructions — come back to her at 38.

Step 47. Isael Silvershadow · Life

Teleport to Hunters Village: Isael Silvershadow stands about 1,500 northwest of the teleport. Click "Ask where Talin's Spear is." — she takes the letter and gives you Isael's Instructions: the Leto shamans and chiefs broke the spear into six pieces.

Step 48. Talin's Spear pieces · Life

From Oren teleport to the Plains of Lizardmen and run northwest, about 4,500–10,000. Kill the level 39 Leto Lizardman Shamans lv. 39 and level 40 Leto Lizardman Overlords lv. 40: half of the time a lizardman gives one missing piece — the blade, the shaft or one of four gems. The quest rate doesn't change this, so expect about 12 kills.

Step 49. The spear is whole · Life

With all six pieces return to Isael in Hunters Village. She puts the spear together and gives you Talin's Spear and Isael's Letter for Thalia.

Step 50. Grail of Purity · Life

Take Isael's letter to Thalia at Iris Lake — she gives you the Grail of Purity. Now you have both the grail and the spear: all that's left is the tears of Eva's unicorn.

Step 51. Unicorn of Eva · Life

The Unicorn of Eva lv. 30 is a level 30 quest monster. The nearest unicorns are about 8,000 south of Thalia, and their spots run along the road south of the lake far to the west. Equip Talin's Spear: only a kill made with the spear in your hands counts, with the Grail of Purity in your bag. You can finish the unicorn with magic too — what matters is that you land the kill and the spear is equipped. The spear and the grail are taken, and you get the Tears of Unicorn.

Step 52. Water of Life · Life

Return to Thalia with the unicorn's tears — she gives you the Water of Life.

Step 53. Asterios again · Life

Take the Water of Life to Asterios in the Elven Village temple. The hierarch takes the water and the Moonflower Charm and gives you the Camomile Charm for Cardien.

Step 54. Mark of Life · Life

Take the charm to Cardien in the Dion Warriors' Guild — Cardien gives you the Mark of Life, 104,591 XP and 11,250 SP.

Step 55. Mark of Healer and the class change · Healer

Teleport to Town of Giran, to Priest Bandellos in the temple — he gives you the Mark of Healer, 118,304 XP and 26,250 SP. You now have all three marks: from level 40 High Priest Maximilian changes your class to Elven Elder right here in the Giran temple; in Oren High Priest Hollint does the same. The next tier is the Eva's Saint 3rd class quest from level 76.

How many mobs to kill at your rate

The items for the marks drop with a 20–80% chance, and the quest rate multiplies the chance — the table shows the average number of kills. On some servers quest items drop one at a time at any rate — then use the x1 column.

The rate doesn't multiply the Talin's Spear pieces: a lizardman gives one piece half of the time, about 12 kills at any rate. The Unicorn of Eva, Tatoma and the Leto lizardmen for Test of the Healer give their item on the first kill.
