New L2 PTS servers
Lineage 2 PTS servers run on builds based on official server files rather than Java emulators. Mechanics, formulas, monster and skill behavior are therefore closer to the original game, with fewer of the small differences typical for emulators.
PTS or Emulator: What Is the Difference
- Mechanics. On PTS, combat, chances and formulas work the way the game developers intended.
- Content. Quests, instances and bosses behave closer to the official versions.
- Changes. PTS builds are usually harder to modify, so there are fewer such projects and they change things more carefully.
How to Choose a PTS Server
PTS is valued by players who want the real Lineage 2 feel. Before launch, check the description for the exact chronicle and what was changed in the official mechanics; some projects add conveniences like ALT+B without touching the core. Pick the pace by rate, from low rate to mid rates such as x50.
