Saga of the Hierophant is the 3rd class quest for Prophets: a level 76 Prophet takes it from High Priest Hollint in the Oren temple. Below is the full walkthrough with a picture for every step — food for Agnes, six tablets, six amulets, Naverius, the Archon of Halisha and Fallen Angel Tanakia.

Step 1. Take the quest from Hollint
Teleport to the Town of Oren and enter the Temple of Einhasad next to the gatekeeper. High Priest Hollint gives the quest only to a level 76 Prophet — a subclass works too. Press "What's different?", then "I'll do it." — he hands you a Tattered Book and sends you to the Saint of Light in Goddard.
Step 2. Agnes in Goddard
Teleport to the Town of Goddard and find Saint of Light Agnes by the magic shop. Press "What can I do?": the townspeople are starving, and Agnes asks you to fetch food from Chef Duncan in the Hot Springs.
Step 3. Food from Duncan
Teleport from Goddard to the Hot Springs: Chef Duncan stands by the camp next to Chef Jeremy. Press "What do you need?" — to keep the food fresh on the way he needs an Ice Crystal. It comes from Jeremy's quest The Finest Ingredients — Part 1 from level 73: 50 items each from Hot Springs Nepenthes lv. 75, Hot Springs Atrox lv. 76 and Hot Springs Bandersnatchling lv. 73. Bring the crystal back to Duncan and press "Here it is." — you get an 
Offering.
Take the food to Agnes in Goddard and press "Here's the food you asked for." — she gives you Resonance Amulet - 1 and sends you to the tablet near the Tower of Insolence.
Step 4. The first tablet near the Tower of Insolence
From Hunters Village teleport to the northern pathway of the Enchanted Valley and run east along the road to Aden. The Tablet of Vision stands south of the Tower of Insolence. Talk to the tablet and touch it with the amulet — the next tablet is in the Valley of Saints.
Step 5. 10 guardians in the south of the Valley of Saints
From Rune teleport to the Valley of Saints and run east, to the southern part of the valley, to the Tablet of Vision. It is a different tablet from the one Sword Muses and Spectral Dancers use.
Guardian of Forbidden Knowledge lv. 76 (level 76) fly around the tablet: you need exactly 10 kills, only your own kills count, and the amulet comes with a 100% chance after the tenth. With Resonance Amulet - 2 talk to the tablet again — it sends you to Ketra.
Step 6. Naverius northeast of Ketra
From Goddard teleport to the Ketra Orc Outpost and run northeast, towards the Hot Springs, to the Tablet of Vision. Talk to the tablet and examine the area.
Fallen Angel Naverius lv. 76 (level 76) appears — kill Naverius yourself and out of a party: if anyone else hits it, it vanishes without a reward. With Resonance Amulet - 3 talk to the tablet again — the vision shows Priest Bastian of Goddard.
Step 7. A Divine Stone of Wisdom for Bastian
Return to Goddard and find Priest Bastian in the church in the south of town. Press "What do you need?" — he can make the amulet only from a Divine Stone of Wisdom. It comes from Magical Power of Water — Part 1 from Wahkan in Ketra or Magical Power of Fire — Part 1 from Naran Ashanuk in Varka — both from level 74 and only at alliance level 2 with that side (Ketra and Varka alliance). The side you pick with Bastian changes nothing — he accepts the stone from either. With the stone press "Here it is." and get Resonance Amulet - 4.
Step 8. The tablet near the Monastery of Silence
The Tablet of Vision stands north of the Varka camp, near the Monastery of Silence. The fastest way is the teleport from Rune to the Monastery of Silence and a short run south; from Ketra it is a long run west. Touch the tablet with the amulet — it sends you back to Bastian.
Step 9. Bastian again
Return to Bastian in the Goddard church and press "What did he say?" — he tells you the next amulet is with the Archon of Halisha, and the fifth tablet stands between the Wall of Argos and Goddard.
Step 10. 700 Halisha's Marks at the Shrine of Loyalty
From Goddard teleport to the Wall of Argos and run east to the Shrine of Loyalty. Kill Grave Scarab lv. 73, Scavenger Scarab lv. 73, Grave Ant lv. 74, Scavenger Ant lv. 74, Shrine Knight lv. 75 and Shrine Guard lv. 75 (levels 73–75) — each drops a Halisha's Mark, you need 700 (mobs per rate are in the table below).
Once you have 700 marks, the next mob you kill summons the Archon of Halisha lv. 76 and takes 20 marks. Kill the Archon yourself and out of a party within 10 minutes — you get Resonance Amulet - 5, and the marks disappear.
Instead of step 10: the Archon in the Four Sepulchers
1. Gather a party for the Four Sepulchers: everyone needs the Four Goblets quest and an 
Entrance Pass to the Sepulcher.
2. Kill the Archon of Halisha lv. 81 inside the sepulchers — he gives Resonance Amulet - 5 at once, no 700 marks needed. On some servers every Prophet in the party on this step gets the amulet, on others only the one who lands the last hit.
Step 11. The tablet on the way to Goddard
The Tablet of Vision stands between the Wall of Argos and Goddard — on the way back from the shrine. Touch it with the amulet: the vision shows the sixth tablet southeast of Hunters Village.
Step 12. Fallen Angel Tanakia near Hunters Village
Teleport to Hunters Village and run southeast, to the Catacomb of the Witch: the Tablet of Vision stands there. Talk to the tablet and patrol the area.
Fallen Angel Tanakia lv. 81 (level 81) and Sunset Guide Luna appear: no need to kill the demon — hit Tanakia 16 times in under a minute and it runs away. Talk to Luna right away, press "You're absolutely right!", then "Wait!" — you get Resonance Amulet - 6; then touch the tablet again.
Step 13. Hierophant from Hollint
Return to Hollint in Oren and press "I've gained a new understanding." — your class changes to Hierophant. Reward: 2,299,404 XP, 5,000,000 adena (multiplied by the reward rate on some servers) and a Secret Book of Giants. If your level dropped below 76, Hollint asks you to come back once you reach 76 again.

How many mobs to kill on your rate
Halisha's Marks drop with a 100% chance, and the quest drop rate multiplies the amount per kill. On some servers marks come one at a time on any rate — then you need 700 kills. The Valley of Saints always takes 10 guardians: it is a kill counter, the rate does not affect it.
