Lineage 2 Remastered servers are private projects that take classic Lineage 2 content and run it on an updated build: with reworked balance, conveniences of newer versions and often with chronicles unlocked step by step, from the early chapters to High Five.

Upcoming launches in the list above are sorted by date, followed by servers that have already opened. Each card shows the rate, date and build features, and the project page adds a description, reviews and the launch history.

Lineage 2 Remastered: What the Format Is

• Not an official chronicle. NCSoft has no chronicle with this name: Remastered is a label projects use for the classics on an updated base.
• Classic content at the core. Most often it is content from C1 to High Five, unlocked in stages rather than all at once.
• Every project has its own build. Conveniences and balance changes differ, so read the server description.

The Official Lineage 2 Remaster

In 2019 NCSoft was hiring a technical artist for "L2: Remastered" on Unreal Engine 4. No official announcement or release date has appeared in public sources since then, so for now Lineage 2 Remastered is only playable on private servers.

Who L2 Remastered Servers Suit

Players who want old-school Lineage 2 without its outdated inconveniences. Remastered projects in our list are mostly low rate, from x1 to x3. Fresh servers are easy to try during an open beta, and the chronicle order is in the article Lineage 2 chronicles in order.
