The first class quest for future Prophets and Bishops is Path to a Cleric. A Human Mystic takes it at level 19 (18 on some servers) from Priest Zigaunt in Gludin and changes class at level 20. Step 1. Take the quest from Zigaunt
The quest is given by Priest Zigaunt in the Temple of Einhasad in Gludin, on the east side of the village. Only a Human Mystic of level 19+ can take it. You get the 1st Letter of Order and a task to collect 5 copies of “Understanding of Miracles”.
Step 2. Three books from Simplon
Teleport to the Town of Gludio and enter the Weapons and Armor Shop by the west wall. Trader Simplon gives you 3 Book of Simplon and names the two other buyers. Start with him: without his books Praga and Vivyan give you nothing.
Step 3. The book from Vivyan
In the same town run to the Temple of Einhasad in the north of Gludio and talk to Priestess Vivyan. She hands over the Book of Vivyan right away, no task needed.
Step 4. The necklace from Guard Praga
Guard Praga stands at the west exit of Gludio. He won't give his book for free: he gives you the Necklace of Mother and asks you to find his mother's pendant, lost in a fight with zombies in the Ruins of Agony.
Step 5. The pendant from a zombie in the Ruins of Agony
Teleport from Gludio to the Ruins of Agony and kill a Ruin Zombie lv. 15 or Ruin Zombie Leader lv. 16 (level 15–16, passive). The 
Pendant of Mother drops with a 100% chance from the very first zombie as long as the necklace is in your bag — no need to farm. Bring the pendant to Praga for the Book of Praga.
Step 6. Five books for Zigaunt
With all 5 books return to Zigaunt in Gludin. He takes the books and the first letter, gives you the 2nd Letter of Order and sends you to the author — the former priest Lionel on Talking Island.
Step 7. Lionel near the Elven Ruins
Teleport to Talking Island and from there to the Elven Ruins. From the teleport point run east towards the Obelisk of Victory: Lionel stands by the road not far from the ruins entrance. He gives you Lionel's Book and asks you to hide it with his teacher.
Step 8. The book for Gallint
Run to Einhovant's School of Magic, southwest of Talking Island Village. Give the book to Grand Magister Gallint and you get the Certificate of Gallint. Gallint does not give the covenant — you have to go back to Lionel for it.
Step 9. The covenant from Lionel
Go back to Lionel with the certificate. He signs Lionel's Covenant — a promise to write nothing more against the church.
Step 10. Mark of Faith from Zigaunt
Return to Gludin and give the covenant to Zigaunt. He hands over the Mark of Faith, 3,200 XP and 5,610 SP — the quest is complete.
Step 11. Change class at Levian
At level 20 talk to High Priestess Levian — she stands in the same temple, next to Zigaunt. High Priest Raymond in the Gludio temple and High Priest Sylvain in the Town of Dion also change Human Mystics to Cleric; High Priest Biotin on Talking Island does not — he only explains the class. The class change gives 15 coupons for D-grade shadow gear, which you can exchange at the same master.
The choice between classes comes at the second class change, at level 40: Prophet 2nd class quest or Bishop 2nd class quest.
