Shillien Elder 2nd class quest walkthrough

Step 1. Magister Kaira in Giran · Fate

Teleport to the Town of Giran and enter the Dark Elven Guild: Magister Kaira gives the quest only to Dark Elves with the 1st class, from level 37. Click "I shall discover the Forbidden Knowledge.", then "Ask about brother Alder." and agree. She hands you Kaira's Letter, plus 98 Dimensional Diamond on the first take.

Step 2. Priestess Pupina in Giran · Reformer

Teleport to the Town of Giran: Priestess Pupina stands in the temple, about 3,100 east of the teleport. Only a Cleric or Shillien Oracle of level 39+ can take the quest. Click "\"At one time I had the same concerns.\"" — you get the Book of Reform and, on the first take, 60 Dimensional Diamond.

Step 3. Brother Metheus · Fate

Brother Metheus stands by the Temple of Einhasad in Giran. Give him the letter — he hands you Metheus's Funeral Jar and asks you to find the remains of his sister Kasandra, executed during the uprising.

Step 4. Hangman Tree · Fate

The remains are in the Execution Grounds: from Dion run about 31,000 east (many servers also have a direct teleport there). Kill one level 35 Hangman Tree lv. 35 — Kasandra's Remains drop on the first kill, the rate doesn't matter.

Step 5. Nameless Revenant · Reformer

From Dion teleport to the Execution Grounds. Go up the left stairs, keep to the right, go up the second stairs and jump into the pit in the clearing — the level 38 quest Nameless Revenants lv. 38 roam there, about 2,500–5,500 east of the teleport. Hit them with Disrupt Undead — otherwise the Ripped Diary won't drop. You need 7 (the quest rate multiplies the amount per kill).

Step 6. The mandragora Aruraune · Reformer

As soon as you have 7 pages, the diary disappears and Aruraune lv. 40, level 40, appears next to you. Kill her to get the Huge Nail. Aruraune lives about 5 minutes.

Step 7. Metheus again · Fate

Bring the remains to Metheus. He gives you the Herbalism Textbook — it goes to Master Ixia in Dion.

Step 8. Pupina again · Reformer

Return to Pupina in the Giran temple and click "\"I shall remain true to my beliefs.\"" — she takes the book and the nail and gives you the Letter of Introduction to Preacher Sla.

Step 9. Master Ixia in Dion · Fate

Master Ixia stands in the Dark Elven Guild of the Town of Dion. Give her the textbook — she hands you Ixia's List: 10 each of five Belladonna ingredients. The ingredients drop only while you carry this list — killing mobs before talking to Ixia is pointless.

Step 10. Preacher Sla · Reformer

From Dion teleport to Dion Pasture: Preacher Sla stands about 1,300 west of the teleport. Click "\"Of course I do.\"", then "\"Yes\"" — you get Sla's Letter to her disciple Katari. Other answers end the talk — then talk to her again.

Step 11. Katari · Reformer

From the Dark Elven Village teleport to Swampland: Katari stands far to the east-northeast, about 28,500 away — the quest marker on the map leads to her. Give her the letter — an Ol Mahum Pilgrim appears nearby, attacked by an Ol Mahum Inspector.

Step 12. Ol Mahum Inspector and the pilgrim · Reformer

Kill the Ol Mahum Inspector lv. 38 (level 38), then talk to the Ol Mahum Pilgrim — he gives you the Ol Mahum's Money. Both disappear after about 5 minutes; if you miss them, talk to Katari again.

Step 13. The betrayer · Reformer

Talk to Katari again: an Ol Mahum Betrayer lv. 36 (level 36) appears and runs away at once — he disappears after 40 seconds. Catch or stop him (Sleep, Dryad Root) and kill him — he drops the Letter of Betrayer. Give it to Katari to get Katari's Letter.

Step 14. Hermit Santiago at the Orc Barracks · Pilgrim

From Gludin Village teleport to the Orc Barracks: Hermit Santiago stands by the hut on the ranch, about 700 north-northeast of the teleport. Only a Cleric, Elven Oracle, Shillien Oracle or Orc Shaman of level 35+ can take the quest. Click "Say you will take the Trial of the Pilgrim", then "\"I shall learn from the beginning.\"" and "Continue listening to the explanation" three times — you get the Voucher of Trial and, on the first take, 49 Dimensional Diamond.

Step 15. Seer Tanapi in the Orc Village · Pilgrim

Teleport to the Orc Village: Seer Tanapi stands in the main building, about 1,000 west of the teleport. He takes the voucher and sends you to the ancestor spirit in the Cave of Trials.

Step 16. Ancestor Martankus in the Cave of Trials · Pilgrim

From the Orc Village teleport to the entrance of the Cave of Trials. Inside, jump off the bridge to the right and run downstream: Ancestor Martankus is in the far hall, about 13,000 east-southeast of the teleport. He asks for the Essence of Flame.

Step 17. Lava Salamander in the Forgotten Temple · Pilgrim

From Gludin teleport to the Forgotten Temple. Inside, turn right at the first fork (the fire side) and keep going: the quest Lava Salamanders lv. 35, level 35, live in a small room on the left before the main halls, about 12,000 northwest of the teleport. The Essence of Flame drops with a 20% chance × quest rate.

Step 18. The flame of Pa'agrio · Pilgrim

Return to Martankus and click "Swallow the Essence of Flame" — the ancestor takes the essence and gives you the Spirit of Flame.

Step 19. Tanapi again · Pilgrim

Return to Tanapi in the Orc Village: he is surprised you passed the trial of fire and sends you to the Dwarves — to Gauri Twinklerock.

Step 20. Gauri Twinklerock in the Dwarven Village · Pilgrim

Teleport to the Dwarven Village: Gauri Twinklerock stands by the forge, about 4,700 north of the teleport. She gives you the Tag of Rumor and advises you to talk to the wanderer Dorf.

Step 21. Wanderer Dorf · Pilgrim

Wanderer Dorf stands nearby, about 5,900 north of the teleport. Give him the tag — he tells you his own truth about the goddess Maphr and gives you the Gray Badge.

Step 22. Priest Primos in Giran · Pilgrim

Teleport to the Town of Giran: Priest Primos stands in the temple, about 3,200 east-southeast of the teleport. He admits he cannot teach the truth of Einhasad and sends you to Petron on Talking Island.

Step 23. Three greetings · Reformer

Return to Sla at the pasture by Dion — she throws away the Ol Mahum money and gives you 3 Greetings for her three other disciples.

Step 24. Medusas in the Gorgon Flower Garden · Fate

The Gorgon Flower Garden lies about 38,000 east-northeast of Giran; if your gatekeeper has a Gorgon Flower Garden teleport, use it. Medusa's Ichor drops from the level 34 Medusa lv. 34, 50%. You need 10.

Step 25. Tyrants in the Wasteland · Fate

From Gludio teleport to Windawood Manor and run about 13,000 south into the Wasteland. Tyrant's Blood drops from the level 35 Tyrant lv. 35 (50%) and the level 36 Tyrant Kingpin lv. 36 (60%). You need 10.

Step 26. Stakatos and spiders by the Cruma Tower · Fate

From Dion teleport to the Cruma Tower; don't go inside. In the marshes north-northeast of the entrance live the level 33 Marsh Stakato Soldier lv. 33 and the level 35 Marsh Stakato Drone lv. 35: Nightshade Root drops from any stakato — 50% from soldiers, 60% from drones. You need 10.

In the same area live the level 34 Marsh Spiders lv. 34: Marsh Spider Fluids, 50%. Also 10.

Step 27. Dead Seekers · Fate

Go back to the Execution Grounds: Dead Seeker Dung drops from the level 34 Dead Seeker lv. 34 with a 50% chance × the quest rate. You need 10.

Step 28. Belladonna from Ixia · Fate

With 10 of each of the five ingredients go back to Ixia in Dion — she makes the Belladonna for Metheus.

Step 29. Alder's skull · Fate

Take the Belladonna to Metheus in Giran. He gives you Alder's Skull — the remains of Brother Alder, who hid a copy of Kaysha's Revelation.

Step 30. Alder's spirit · Fate

Give the skull to Kaira: she performs the ritual and Alder's Spirit appears next to you. The spirit stays until you talk to it. Do so — it gives you a second Alder's Skull and tells you the copy of the revelation is kept in the Gludin warehouse, while the receipt is held by his descendant in Giran.

Step 31. Magister Roa · Fate

Magister Roa stands in the Mages' Guild of Giran. Click "I was sent here by your ancestor, brother Alder.", and in the next window go straight for "Even though you cover it with your hands, the moon still shines.". She takes the skull and hands you Alder's Receipt.

Step 32. The Gludin warehouse · Fate

Teleport to Gludin Village: Warehouse Keeper Norman stands in the warehouse. For the receipt he gives you the Revelations Manuscript — the copy of Kaysha's Revelation.

Step 33. Kakan and the werewolf · Reformer

From the Orc Village teleport to Immortal Plateau, Southern Region: Kakan stands about 8,400 east of the teleport. Click "Ask what the problem is.", then "\"I will help.\"" — a Crimson Werewolf lv. 36 (level 36) appears nearby. Hit it only with magic: Disrupt Undead, Sleep, Curse: Weakness, Curse: Poison, Vampiric Touch, Wind Strike, Ice Bolt, Dryad Root, Wind Shackle — from a weapon hit or any other skill it shouts "Cowardly guy!" and vanishes. Kill it and talk to Kakan to get Kakan's Letter.

Step 34. Nyakuri and the lizardman · Reformer

Teleport to the Dwarven Village: Nyakuri stands outside the village, about 10,900 east of the teleport. Click "\"I will fight and win!\"" — a Krudel Lizardman lv. 36 (level 36) appears nearby. Kill him and talk to Nyakuri to get Nyakuri's Letter.

Step 35. Priest Petron · Pilgrim

Teleport to Talking Island Village: Priest Petron stands in the temple, about 1,000 west-southwest of the teleport. He gives you the Picture of Nahir and asks you to put the evil spirit Nahir to rest.

Step 36. Ramus on Talking Island · Reformer

From Talking Island teleport to the Singing Waterfall: Ramus stands by the waterfall, about 5,000 west-southwest of the teleport. He takes the last greeting and gives you the Undead List — you need bones of five undead.

Step 37. Nahir and undead bones in the Elven Ruins · Pilgrim, Reformer

From the island teleport to the Elven Ruins and go down into the dungeon. Nahir lv. 35 is a level 35 quest mob at the far end of the ruins, past the spider room, about 4,300 north of the teleport. The Hair of Nahir drops with a 20% chance × quest rate — at x1 you may have to kill Nahir 5–10 times.

In the same dungeon collect the bones for Ramus. Kill one of each kind — the bone drops right away, the rate doesn't matter. The Misery Skeleton lv. 14 (level 14) gives its Bone Fragment.

Skeleton Marksman lv. 14 (level 14) — Bone Fragment.

Skeleton Lord lv. 15 (level 15) — Bone Fragment.

Skeleton Archer lv. 13 (level 13) — Bone Fragment. There are only one or two archers in the ruins — if none is there, wait for the respawn (about 2 minutes).

Silent Horror lv. 16 (level 16) — Bone Fragment.

Step 38. Statue of Einhasad · Pilgrim

Bring the hair to Petron in the Talking Island Village temple — he takes the hair and the picture and gives you the Statue of Einhasad.

Step 39. Ramus's letter · Reformer

With five bones return to Ramus by the waterfall — he gives you Ramus's Letter for Sla.

Step 40. Mark of Reformer · Reformer

With the four disciples' letters return to Sla at the pasture by Dion — she gives you the Mark of Reformer, 164,032 XP and 17,500 SP.

Step 41. Kaira's recommendation · Fate

Bring the manuscript to Kaira and click "Yes, that is my wish.". From level 38 she gives you Kaira's Recommendation. If you are still 37, you get Kaira's Instructions — come back at 38.

Step 42. Tetrarch Thifiell · Fate

Teleport to the Dark Elven Village: Tetrarch Thifiell stands in the temple. For the recommendation he gives you the Palus Charm and Thifiell's Letter to the witch Arkenia.

Step 43. The witch Arkenia · Fate

From the Dark Elven Village teleport to the Spider Nest and run about 12,600 east to the Altar of Rites. Witch Arkenia stands by the altar: click "Ask about the ink" — she takes the letter and gives you Arkenia's Note. The ink needs Red Fairy Dust from a Bloody Pixy and sap from a Blight Treant.

Step 44. The pixy and the treant · Fate

Pixies and treants wander all around the altar. The nearest Bloody Pixy is about 2,500 east of Arkenia: click "Ask about the Red Fairy Dust." — you get a Pixy Garnet. The pixy gives the dust for 10 skulls each from four mobs (step 45).

The nearest Blight Treant is about 6,700 northwest of Arkenia. Click "I will destroy the Black Willow Lurker!" — you get a Blight Treant Seed: the treant trades its sap for a Black Willow Lurker leaf (step 47).

Step 45. Skulls for the pixy · Fate

The skulls drop only while you carry the Pixy Garnet, with a 100% chance (× the quest rate); you need 10 of each. The Leto Overlord Skull comes from the level 40 Leto Lizardman Overlord lv. 40: from Oren teleport to the Plains of Lizardmen and run about 9,200 north-northwest.

The Grandis's Skull comes from the level 40 Grandis lv. 40: it lives in the Death Pass — from the same Plains of Lizardmen teleport run about 16,000 south.

The Breka Overlord Skull comes from the level 35 Breka Orc Overlord lv. 35: from Giran teleport to Breka's Stronghold and run about 8,000 northeast.

The Karul Bugbear Skull comes from the level 40 Karul Bugbear lv. 40: from Hunters Village run about 6,000 south-southeast.

Step 46. Andellia in the Elven Village · Pilgrim

Teleport to the Elven Village: Andellia stands on the square by the Mother Tree, about 1,100 north-northwest of the teleport. She continues the quest only from level 36 — at 35 she asks you to come back later. Andellia asks you to drive away the Black Willows and warn their mistress Uruha.

Step 47. Black Willow Lurker · Fate

From the Dark Elven Village teleport to Swampland. The Black Willow Lurker lv. 39 is a level 39 quest monster; several of them roam the swamp, the nearest about 4,000 east of the teleport. The Black Willow Leaf drops on the first kill, only while you carry the Blight Treant Seed.

Step 48. Black Willow by the waterfall · Pilgrim

The Black Willows lv. 30 are level 30 quest mobs by the waterfall in the northern part of the Neutral Zone. The fastest way is the Neutral Zone teleport from the Dark Elven Village and about 16,000 to the northeast. You can also go through Swampland: from the Swampland teleport run about 20,000 east-southeast. The Debris of Willow drops with a 20% chance × quest rate.

Step 49. Uruha · Pilgrim

Uruha stands right there by the waterfall. Click "\"I only came here at the request of Andellia.\"" — she takes the debris and gives you the Book of Darkness.

Step 50. The book of darkness · Pilgrim

Return to Andellia and click "Burn the Book of Darkness" — she thanks you and sends you to the sage Casian in the Wasteland.

Step 51. Pixy dust and treant sap · Fate

Go back to the Bloody Pixy with the 40 skulls — she takes them with the garnet and gives you the Red Fairy Dust.

For the leaf and the seed the Blight Treant gives you the Blight Treant Sap.

Step 52. Arkenia's letter · Fate

With the dust and the sap go back to Arkenia and click "Begin the Initiation Ceremony" — she gives you Arkenia's Letter for the tetrarch.

Step 53. Mark of Fate · Fate

Take the letter to Thifiell in the temple of the Dark Elven Village — he takes the Palus Charm and gives you the Mark of Fate, 68,183 XP and 1,750 SP.

Step 54. Elder Casian in the Wasteland · Pilgrim

From Gludin teleport to the Wasteland: Elder Casian stands in the wasteland, about 1,200 southwest of the arrival point. He takes the Gray Badge, the Spirit of Flame, the Statue of Einhasad and the book of darkness and gives you the Book of Sage.

Step 55. Mark of Pilgrim and the class change · Pilgrim

Return to Santiago at the Orc Barracks — he takes the Book of Sage and gives you the Mark of Pilgrim, 77,382 XP and 16,000 SP. You now have all three marks: from level 40 the Grand Master of the Dark Elf guild changes your class to Shillien Elder — for example, Grand Master Angus in Giran or Grand Master Brecson in Oren. The next tier is the Shillien Saint 3rd class quest from level 76.

How many mobs to kill at your rate

The Essence of Flame, Hair of Nahir and Debris of Willow are needed once each and drop with a 20% chance, the Belladonna ingredients with 30–60%; the quest rate multiplies the chance — the table shows the average number of kills. The skulls for the pixy and the diary pages drop with a 100% chance, and the rate multiplies the amount per kill. On some servers quest items drop one at a time at any rate — then use the x1 column.

Kasandra's Remains, the Black Willow Leaf, the Huge Nail, the undead bones and the quest mobs at Sla's disciples give their item on the first kill.
