Bladedancer 2nd Class Quest — Palus Knight 3-in-1 Route

Three marks — all at once or one by one

The route below merges three quests into one without breaking the order of steps inside each quest. Need just one mark? Open its own guide from the table or follow the step numbers.

Bladedancer 2nd class quest walkthrough

Step 1. Duelist Kaien in Oren · Duelist

Teleport to the Town of Oren and enter the Warriors' Guild: Duelist Kaien gives the quest from level 39 to Warriors, Elven Knights, Palus Knights and Orc Monks. Click "Ask about the Mark of the Duelist.", "Ask about the Trial of the Duelist." and "Accept the challenge." (orcs see "Ask about the Duelist Trial." instead of the second line). Kaien hands you five orders — Order Gludio, Dion, Giran, Oren and Aden — plus, on the first take, 104 Dimensional Diamond for a Palus Knight and 72 for the others.

Step 2. Magister Kaira in Giran · Fate

Teleport to the Town of Giran and enter the Dark Elven Guild: Magister Kaira gives the quest only to Dark Elves with the 1st class, from level 37. Click "I shall discover the Forbidden Knowledge.", then "Ask about brother Alder." and agree. She hands you Kaira's Letter, plus 98 Dimensional Diamond on the first take.

Step 3. Brother Metheus · Fate

Brother Metheus stands by the Temple of Einhasad in Giran. Give him the letter — he hands you Metheus's Funeral Jar and asks you to find the remains of his sister Kasandra, executed during the uprising.

Step 4. Kash in Dion · Challenger

Teleport to the Town of Dion and enter the Warriors' Guild: Kash stands there. He gives the quest from level 35 to Warriors, Elven Knights, Palus Knights, Orc Raiders and Orc Monks. Click "Ask what kind of adventure it is.", then "I accept.". On the first take you get 61 Dimensional Diamond.

Step 5. Hangman Tree · Fate

The remains are in the Execution Grounds: from Dion run about 31,000 east (many servers also have a direct teleport there). Kill one level 35 Hangman Tree lv. 35 — Kasandra's Remains drop on the first kill, the rate doesn't matter.

Step 6. Metheus again · Fate

Bring the remains to Metheus. He gives you the Herbalism Textbook — it goes to Master Ixia in Dion.

Step 7. Master Ixia in Dion · Fate

Master Ixia stands in the Dark Elven Guild of the Town of Dion. Give her the textbook — she hands you Ixia's List: 10 each of five Belladonna ingredients. The ingredients drop only while you carry this list — killing mobs before talking to Ixia is pointless.

Step 8. Dead Seekers — fangs and dung · Fate, Duelist

Go back to the Execution Grounds: about 31,000 east of Dion. The level 34 Dead Seeker lv. 34 now drops two trophies at once: the Dead Seeker Fang for Kaien — 100%, and the Dead Seeker Dung for Ixia — 50% (× the quest rate). You need 10 of each. The dung drops only with Ixia's list, so this is the trip to collect both.

Step 9. Stakatos and spiders by the Cruma Tower · Fate, Duelist

From Dion teleport to the Cruma Tower; don't go inside. In the marshes north-northeast of the entrance live the level 33 Marsh Stakato Soldier lv. 33 and the level 35 Marsh Stakato Drone lv. 35: Nightshade Root drops from any stakato (soldiers 50%, drones 60%), you need 10.

Drones also drop the Drone's Chitin for Kaien — 100%, also 10.

In the same area live the level 34 Marsh Spiders lv. 34: Marsh Spider Fluids, 50%, 10 of them.

Step 10. Punchers and Tyrants in the Wasteland · Fate, Duelist

From Gludio teleport to Windawood Manor and run south into the Wasteland, about 13,000–15,000. The level 34 Puncher lv. 34 drops the Puncher's Shard — 100%, you need 10.

Tyrant's Blood drops from the level 35 Tyrant lv. 35 (50%) and the level 36 Tyrant Kingpin lv. 36 (60%), also 10.

Step 11. Noble Ant Leaders · Duelist

The level 38 Noble Ant Leader lv. 38 lives deep in the Ant Nest under the Wasteland — Gludio has a teleport to the Ant Cave. It drops the Noble Ant's Feeler.

Step 12. Shyslassys in the Neutral Zone · Challenger

Shyslassys lv. 36 is an ancient medusa, a level 36 quest monster; Kash himself advises taking a party. Her lair is a cave by the waterfall in the Neutral Zone, between the Elven and Dark Elven lands. From the Dark Elven Village teleport to the Neutral Zone and run about 25,000 northeast. Other guides go through Swampland: from its teleport it is about 27,500 east.

The Scroll of Shyslassys and the Broken Key drop right away, on the first kill. A Chest Of Shyslassys appears nearby for 200 seconds — it is a bonus, not a quest step: with the key you have a 20% chance of armor patterns and recipes, otherwise 1 to 1,000 adena, and the key is used up. If the monster has just been killed, it respawns in 3 minutes.

Step 13. Kash's letter · Challenger

Go back to Dion and give Kash the scroll. He hands you the Letter of Kash: he left the mark itself with a friend — Martien in Giran.

Step 14. Medusas in the Gorgon Flower Garden · Fate

The Gorgon Flower Garden lies about 38,000 east-northeast of Giran; if your gatekeeper has a Gorgon Flower Garden teleport, use it. Medusa's Ichor drops from the level 34 Medusa lv. 34, 50%. You need 10.

Step 15. Belladonna from Ixia · Fate

With 10 of each of the five ingredients go back to Ixia in Dion — she makes the Belladonna for Metheus.

Step 16. Martien by Giran · Challenger

Teleport to the Town of Giran: Martien stands by the bridge outside the north exit of the town — about 4,300 north of the teleport. Click "Take the challenge": he takes the letter and sends you to kill Gorr, a monster attacking the people of Floran.

Step 17. Alder's skull · Fate

Take the Belladonna to Metheus in Giran. He gives you Alder's Skull — the remains of Brother Alder, who hid a copy of Kaysha's Revelation.

Step 18. Alder's spirit · Fate

Give the skull to Kaira: she performs the ritual and Alder's Spirit appears next to you. The spirit stays until you talk to it. Do so — it gives you a second Alder's Skull and tells you the copy of the revelation is kept in the Gludin warehouse, while the receipt is held by his descendant in Giran.

Step 19. Magister Roa · Fate

Magister Roa stands in the Mages' Guild of Giran. Click "I was sent here by your ancestor, brother Alder.", and in the next window go straight for "Even though you cover it with your hands, the moon still shines.". She takes the skull and hands you Alder's Receipt.

Step 20. Gorr · Challenger

Gorr lv. 36 is a level 36 quest monster in a cave in the Plains of Dion. From Dion teleport to Dion Pasture and run about 7,800 southeast — the cave entrance is west of the Monster Race Track. Gorr drops the Watcher's 1st Eye on the first kill, and it respawns in 3 minutes.

Step 21. The Gludin warehouse · Fate

Teleport to Gludin Village: Warehouse Keeper Norman stands in the warehouse. For the receipt he gives you the Revelations Manuscript — the copy of Kaysha's Revelation.

Step 22. Kaira's recommendation · Fate

Bring the manuscript to Kaira and click "Yes, that is my wish.". From level 38 she gives you Kaira's Recommendation. If you are still 37, you get Kaira's Instructions — come back at 38.

Step 23. Martien again · Challenger

Bring the eye back to Martien. He takes it and sends you after a second monster — Baraham, hiding in another cave not far from Gorr's lair.

Step 24. Baraham and Champion Raldo · Challenger

From Dion teleport to the Bee Hive and run about 4,400 north to the cave. The level 36 Baraham lv. 36 has guards — 3 to 6 level 30 Cave Basilisks lv. 30. He drops the Watcher's 2nd Eye, and Champion Raldo appears where he died for 100 seconds — talk to him at once.

Raldo accuses you of attacking the guardians of the magic field. Click in turn "I have come to kill the monsters threatening the villagers.", "Tell him about the Mark of the Challenger and Martien" and "I will help.". He takes the second eye and sends you to Elder Filaur in the Dwarven Village; there is no need to go back to Martien. Missed the 100 seconds? Kill Baraham again: Raldo appears after every kill.

Step 25. Filaur in the Dwarven Village · Challenger

Teleport to the Dwarven Village: Gray Pillar Member Filaur stands in the Elder Council building. He helps only from level 36 — before that he just sends you away. Filaur marks on your map the farthest hall of the Mithril Mines, where succubi are trying to break the seal.

Step 26. The Succubus Queen and the Mark of Challenger · Challenger

From the Dwarven Village teleport to the Mithril Mines and run deep into the mine to the farthest hall — about 12,700 north-northeast. The level 34 Succubus Queen lv. 34 lives there and respawns in 3 minutes. After her death Raldo appears again for 100 seconds.

Talk to Raldo — he gives you the Mark of Challenger, 72,394 XP and 11,250 SP. The first mark is done; next comes Shilen's initiation for the Mark of Fate.

Step 27. Tetrarch Thifiell · Fate

Teleport to the Dark Elven Village: Tetrarch Thifiell stands in the temple. For the recommendation he gives you the Palus Charm and Thifiell's Letter to the witch Arkenia.

Step 28. The witch Arkenia · Fate

From the Dark Elven Village teleport to the Spider Nest and run about 12,600 east to the Altar of Rites. Witch Arkenia stands by the altar: click "Ask about the ink" — she takes the letter and gives you Arkenia's Note. The ink needs Red Fairy Dust from a Bloody Pixy and sap from a Blight Treant.

Step 29. The pixy and the treant · Fate

Pixies and treants wander all around the altar. The nearest Bloody Pixy is about 2,500 east of Arkenia: click "Ask about the Red Fairy Dust." — you get a Pixy Garnet. The pixy gives the dust for 10 skulls each from four mobs (steps 31–34).

The nearest Blight Treant is about 6,700 northwest of Arkenia. Click "I will destroy the Black Willow Lurker!" — you get a Blight Treant Seed: the treant trades its sap for a Black Willow Lurker leaf (step 30).

Step 30. Black Willow Lurker · Fate

From the Dark Elven Village teleport to Swampland. The Black Willow Lurker lv. 39 is a level 39 quest monster; several of them roam the swamp, the nearest about 4,000 east of the teleport. The Black Willow Leaf drops on the first kill, only while you carry the Blight Treant Seed.

Step 31. Karul Bugbears and Tamlin Orcs by Hunters Village · Fate, Duelist

From Hunters Village run about 6,000 south-southeast. The level 40 Karul Bugbear lv. 40 drops the Karul Bugbear Skull for the pixy — only while you carry the Pixy Garnet, you need 10.

The level 41 Tamlin Orcs lv. 41 roam nearby — the Tamrin Orc's Ring for Kaien, 10 of them.

And the level 42 Tamlin Orc Archers lv. 42 — the Tamrin Orc's Arrow, also 10.

Step 32. Leto Lizardman Overlords · Fate, Duelist

From Oren teleport to the Plains of Lizardmen and run about 9,200 north-northwest. The level 40 Leto Lizardman Overlord lv. 40 drops two trophies at once: the Leto Overlord Skull for the pixy and the Chief's Amulet for Kaien, both 100%, 10 of each.

Step 33. Fettered Souls and Grandis in the Death Pass · Fate, Duelist

From the same Plains of Lizardmen teleport run about 16,000 south into the Death Pass. The level 38 Fettered Soul lv. 38 drops the Fettered Soul's Chain for Kaien, you need 10.

In the same area — the level 40 Grandis lv. 40: the Grandis's Skull for the pixy, 10 of them. Grandis skins for Kaien's final trial don't drop yet — you come back for them at step 38.

Step 34. Breka Orc Overlords · Fate, Duelist

From Giran teleport to Breka's Stronghold and run about 8,000 northeast. The level 35 Breka Orc Overlord lv. 35 drops the Breka Overlord Skull for the pixy and the Overlord Necklace for Kaien, both 100%, 10 of each.

Step 35. Enchanted Monstereyes · Duelist

From Oren teleport to the Ivory Tower and go down into the crater right by the tower. The level 41 Enchanted Monstereye lv. 41 drops the Enchanted Eye Meat.

Step 36. Final Order · Duelist

With 10 of every trophy go back to Kaien. He won't count them — click "Attempt the final trial." and "Ask about your opponent.": he takes the orders and trophies and gives you the Final Order. Now you need 3 trophies from each of five strong mobs — they drop only after the Final Order; in the final trial you may fight in a party.

Step 37. Excuro and Krator in the Cruma Tower · Duelist

From Dion teleport to the Cruma Tower and enter it. The level 41 Excuro lv. 41 lives on the first floor — Excuro's Skin.

The level 44 Krator lv. 44 is on the second floor, reached by the teleport inside the tower. It drops the Krator's Shard.

Step 38. Grandis · Duelist

Back to the Death Pass: about 16,000 south of the Plains of Lizardmen teleport. The level 40 Grandis lv. 40 drops the Grandi's Skin.

Step 39. Timak Orc Overlords · Duelist

To find the level 45 Timak Orc Overlord lv. 45, run about 11,000–16,000 northwest from the Oren Town teleport. It drops the Timak Orc's Belt.

Step 40. Lakins · Duelist

From Hunters Village run about 7,000–12,000 south-southeast. The level 44 Lakin lv. 44 drops the Lakin's Mace.

Step 41. Mark of Duelist · Duelist

With 3 of each of the five final trophies go back to Kaien in Oren — he gives you the Mark of Duelist, 47,015 XP and 20,000 SP. One mark left — the Mark of Fate.

Step 42. Pixy dust and treant sap · Fate

Go back to the Bloody Pixy with the 40 skulls — she takes them with the garnet and gives you the Red Fairy Dust.

For the leaf and the seed the Blight Treant gives you the Blight Treant Sap.

Step 43. Arkenia's letter · Fate

With the dust and the sap go back to Arkenia and click "Begin the Initiation Ceremony" — she gives you Arkenia's Letter for the tetrarch.

Step 44. Mark of Fate and the class change · Fate

Take Arkenia's letter to Thifiell in the temple of the Dark Elven Village — he takes the Palus Charm and gives you the Mark of Fate, 68,183 XP and 1,750 SP. You now have all three marks: from level 40 a Grand Master of the Dark Elven Guild changes your class to Bladedancer — for example, Grand Master Angus in Giran or Grand Master Brecson in Oren. The next stage is the Bladedancer 3rd class quest from level 76.

How many mobs to kill at your rate

The Belladonna ingredients drop with a 30–60% chance and the quest rate multiplies the chance — the table shows the average number of kills. Kaien's trophies and the pixy's skulls drop with a 100% chance, and the rate multiplies the amount per kill. On some servers quest items drop one at a time at any rate — then use the x1 column.

Shyslassys, Gorr, Baraham, the Succubus Queen, the Hangman Tree and the Black Willow Lurker drop their item on the first kill at any rate.
